Right Response to Your Situation

Perhaps one of the throbbing ideas to know is when someone close to you have something against you. But still, glad I made a right response.

I could have confronted the person. I could have easily hold grudges and maligned that individual. I could have said bad and below the belt words. I could do it if I wanted to. But at the end, God reminded me on James 4:1 – What causes fight and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? He told me, “Hey calm down, don’t fight the wrong battle. It’s under My control.”

I realized that life is no longer about me but it’s all about Him.  It’s not about my feelings or emotions anymore or me being hurt.  It’s no longer me living in my body but it is Christ who lives in me (Galatians 2:20). Though I was hurt knowing that someone had a wrong motive to do such action, I chose to have a right response.

If we really understand what Christ did on the Cross, we will understand how easy to forgive someone who have offended us. You might be hurt because someone betrayed or maligned you. Still, we will forgive no matter how they have wounded us. Besides, holding grudges will never do something good in our lives. In fact, it is unhealthy.

Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back. Isaiah 38:17

We have to have that DECISION to just move forward and forget everything. Every testing will shape our character and will give us lessons that will help us to be mature enough to handle other situations of our lives.

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.  There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you–who are you to judge your neighbor? – James 4:11-12

There’s no reason to fight back for we don’t fight the wrong battle, we only fight the good fight of faith. Thus, we have to learn to repay evil with good even how it was hard at the start. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.– 1 Peter 3:9. We won’t allow that such stubborn action will disqualify us to inherit the abundant blessings from God.

At the end, let the love of Christ overflows on our lives. His greatest commandment will always prevail, love each other as I have loved you – John 15:12. We have to learn to move forward for we know that our relationship with one another matters to God.

What I learned from Waiting Patiently

And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised – Hebrews 6:15

Abraham waited for so long to have a son. He endured every suffering throughout his journey to receive the promise of God. And despite of impossibilities, he believed the Lord, and it was credited to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6). God saw his faith and character that is why he obtained the promise.

Sometimes time will test you. Will you keep on waiting or will you just settle for less? I could have settled for less. But because I have known God throughout good and bad season, I remained to cling on His promises – knowing that He cannot lie and His promises will soon be fulfilled on His perfect and beautiful time.

Some people have decided to compromise because they think that waiting just increases their agony. In times that they have no idea what will happen next, they settle for less. What waiting patiently has taught me is that to deepen my faith in times that I don’t know what future is ahead of me. I just embrace the idea that God has best and amazing plans for me (Jeremiah 29:11). Waiting patiently stretches my faith as I continue to believe on what I do not see.

Now faith is the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1). Even there’s small distracting voice trying to make you worry, your faith will encourage you to believe and trust on Him. You will be reminded that you have a big and awesome God who would fulfill His promises on our lives.

Waiting for something or someone is just another testing to surpass. It may be painful, but at the end it will be all worth it. The process of waiting will build your character and will deepen your relationship to Him.

While waiting, just do your best in all areas of your life for the glory of God. Work with all your heart for you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24). Focus on what God wants you to do and keep your trust on Him for the latter will always be greater than the former.

And whatever will happen on your life, it’s always according to the His plan. Be the best that God wants you to be while you are waiting patiently

The True Spirit of Christmas

Maybe you are longing for something or for a better half this Christmas. It could be particularly on your career, family, dreams, etc. Or you are searching for your hearts, trying to look an answer for your emptiness. You tried to do everything just to fill that emptiness, tried to look for answers to other people but everything is not just working. What’s wrong then?

Certainly, you are missing out an essential Someone on your life. This 25th of December, let it be our reminder for us that Someone was born just to free us from bondage. That Someone endured and embraced all the sufferings for us to enjoy what we have now.

Jesus Christ is born to save us from all our sins. HE IS THE REASON OF THIS SEASON. Let’s not forget it. More than the gifts, reunion, party, and celebration, He is the reason why we are merry to celebrate the 25th. He is the reason nothing more nothing less.

That’s why, if you try to look for answers for your emptiness, He’s the only way. I’ll tell you that there is a space on your heart that no one could ever fulfill. He is the only one who could sustain your heart and fill that emptiness in your heart.

Don’t overlook Him for He has been waiting for you for so long. Don’t wait for tomorrow if you could give your life to Him today.

This Christmas, let’s not waste another great opportunity for us to be grateful for all the blessings and victories for 2014. It has been an amazing year and we can’t afford not to get better and better this 2015.

God has indeed blessed us. He has been faithful to us despite our shortcomings.  There are a lot of things that we did not ask yet He gave it immeasurably more than what we have imagined and asked. Wouldn’t that be enough for us to be grateful to Him?

So this Christmas, take a quiet time to thank the Lord for all the goodness He has done on your life. Take time to ponder on the situations you have conquered this year. Don’t waste your life! Be a blessing to someone.

A great and wonderful  Christmas everyone!

Later you will understand – J

Perhaps you have been praying for something for quite a long time. You have kept on waiting for answer but you felt like nothing is happening.

But wait. God’s is moving on your life. Trust Him

God is able; He provides. And sometimes He just doesn’t want to give what you desire right away. Surely, He can give it to you in just a snap but He decided to test your character and heart so He can see how faith works on you. He wants to increase your faith and trust His amazing plans for you.

It may be for your career, family, personal growth, desire for another level or whatever it is, but take heart, God is just teaching you something. Just always be persistent.

Just like when a woman came and asked Jesus to heal her daughter, on  Matthew 15: 25-28

25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

Same us with our life. When God sees our genuine faith and authentic love to him against trials and testing, He will reward us. He will answer us according to our faith.

Be patient with the process. If you’re about to give up on your dreams, fight for it. Allow your faith to increase. Don’t ever stop. Believe on His promises on your life for what He has promised  will surely be accomplished on you.

You’re just starting and you’ll never know what He’ll be doing for you.

So don’t allow any negativity or circumstances to stop you from stepping forward. Take each step one at a time and you will get there. Keep your faith higher and higher because that’s how God wants to see you handle each situation of your life.

We will triumph; We are more than conquerors. We won’t allow any situations to hinder us from growing.

Soon, this test will be a testimony.

It’s not about what you are doing or what you have been going through, but it’s all about WHO YOU ARE BECOMING.

Happy to Serve

Perhaps some people would not understand what you are doing. They think it’s insane to put other people first than yourself. But they just don’t know what joy it brings to serve.

The moment you embrace and understand what service truly means, you begin to love and enjoy helping other people.

You may be spending the rest of your life serving other people and it seems like no one appreciating it. You have done everything to do well, yet other people are still against you. What you think the right way to do, seems like wrong with others. You know that you’re doing your part, but some people think you’re just doing it to gain something.

But take heart. DON’T MIND THEM. Do not mind what people would tell to you. Do not mind if the circumstances work against you. Do not mind if others are just laughing at your cause or if they’re not buying on your vision. Do not hold on their mockery.

Just continue what you have started. For if it is for the good of other people, there will always be a huge comeback in store for you. Whatever you have done for the sake of the others, it will also happen to you. Maybe the time is not yet the right time to happen, but surely it will happen on right moment and season of your life.

Your effort and labor will not be in vain. Don’t stop doing the good cause just because others are not with you. Because you may not believe it, but whatever you are doing will impact the world. It will take part on the transformation of the world. You will be an influence and you will be part of the history.

You may not be seeing it for the meantime but you have to see it and prepare yourself for it will surely happen.

So always put a smile because there is always joy in serving. Even if it is physically demanding, even if it gives you sleepless nights, and even if it demands your time. The joy in serving will always remain the same; it will always be priceless.

Your life will only be worthwhile when you come to understand and embrace the heart in serving other people.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

To all Cell Leaders

Once and for all, I would like to commend you. I salute your heart for the vision and your utmost love for the lost and the nation.

It is never an easy job, but the most fulfilling. It takes your heart and your whole self. Changing lives, loving the unlovable, and raising up leaders to transform this nation – how could someone underestimate your job description?

Most often than not, you love investing time, effort, money, and everything that you’ve got. Whether you are students or working, you love putting other people first.

Everyone acquainted to you was in awe of what you have become now – mature, better, and significant person. Looking back of how your life, you have gone so far and people around you could not conceal how they are grateful and proud of you.

Thank you for living your life for the vision. For pursuing God’s dream over your life. What you have sown today will impact tomorrow, and will change the world. Nothing will be put into waste.

You may experience lack of sleep or lack of rest time, but just take heart. Your labor is not in vain.

Just don’t give up, don’t neglect your duty. God is seeing you. He will never let His righteous man fall. We have still lot of things to do, let’s GO BEYOND!

Value what you have now. No matter how small or big it is. Whether you’re starting or been for years now, God will give what you desire in the proper time. The time when you’re ready enough to handle the blessings.

In times you think of giving up, think of the first time you have experienced the love of the Lord. Think of your past victories and His promises on your life. He will do as He promise, just wait patiently.

Lose yourself for the greater cause and you will not just be successful but you will be significant, adding value to other people.

Thank you for allowing yourself to do so. The credits all go to our Lord who continues to change, correct, and remind us to do and embrace our calling.

I am also a cell leader, leading people back to Christ and raising up leaders whom the multitudes will follow. I am not ashamed of my calling. I am proud and will always be grateful that God qualified me and used me to do extraordinary things. I am privilege to be called.

To all the Cell Leaders, let’s die on the vision and embraced this calling. Go beyond what you can do. If you want to reach that picture of your future, leave your comfort zone.

What can I give the Lord for all that he has done for me? – Psalm 116:12

God bless everyone!

L-O-V-E

What keeps you going?

And I have to agree with the song, it’s Love. L-O-V-E; Love alone is worth the fight!

Life will always throw something on you. It could pull you down, break you or tear you. But with all the undesirable situations, Love will keep you going.

Perfect love casts out fear, (1 John 4:18)

If you have understand that kind of love, it will always manifest and reflect on you.

18 years and still counting, I have been through a lot. But those situations have never shaken my foundation and my beliefs. I know the why and I know that despite of everything there’s Someone willing to love me unconditionally. That no matter what, He’s there for me.

Everything is possible because of love.

So don’t be conceited. Share the love that you have; Love one another (John 13:34-35). Don’t shun away the greatness of love

And now these three remain: FAITH, HOPE and LOVE. But the greatest of these is LOVE. – 1 Corinthians 13:13

Embracing the Grind

When things get tough, exhaustion becomes unbearable. Your physical body seems to withdraw from your strength. your weakness tries to stop you from doing your desire and goal. But at the end of the day, it is your cause that will make you continue each and every day – your purpose to battle and face life challenges.

Besides, everything must be cleared at the very first place. Questions and doubts should have already answered. ‘Cause if not, weariness will just eat your system.

Glad I know my cause and purpose why I’m doing everything. So in times like this that I could really feel the exhaustion from my physical body, I don’t have something petty issues to entertain. I found ways to lessen it, one is to write the feeling so I can easily release it.

I need not to entertain exhaustion; I’ll just write about it instead. And truly, writing eases it,  just as it done to me right now. #relieve

Just one drop of Your blood

Just one drop of your blood
took away sin
and gave sight

Nostalgia hits me the moment I heard this song of Soulfire Revolution during the G12 Philippine National Conference: Breath of Life.

It has taken me aback to how I started this Journey of knowing and growing with His Love. I just can hardly imagine myself without being rooted with His foundation.

If no one had the courage to enter our classroom and shared the gospel, I wonder where would I be right now? Perhaps I was the same girl who’d use the blogging world to burst out her anger. Or I would be cool girl who’d go out with her friends till sunrise. Or at the very least, I had my first boyfriend.

Glad I was saved at my young age. I’m glad I decided to say yes with Him. Looking back, I never had any glint of regret with my decision.

I thought having a relationship with Him is just about attending sermons, reading the bible, knowing the truth, etc. But I was certainly wrong. Having a relationship with Him means connecting with the people who are passionate with the cause.

And I’m blessed to find such great and loving people. They are the type of people who’d care your totality, from all aspect, who’d make you excellent and better.

My second family 🙂

So I would be forever grateful that I found the light in His name. I was set free from all the bondage that set me apart from Him. I am healed.

If you are reading this right now, and you really don’t know Him. If you’re still finding your footing, still searching for the truth, this is the right time. It just takes your decision. Are you willing to accept Him or not? There is a place deep down on your heart that no one or anything can ever fill, only God. Don’t hesitate to come on Him, no matter what you’ve done, even if you think you’re the bad and dirtiest person on earth, He still loves you. He doesn’t have any reason to love you less. He just loves you unconditionally.

Jesus
I thank You for the life You gave
You took all my guilt and shame
