Devotion (Day 1 of 90 Days Challenge): No excuse for your calling

There should be NO EXCUSES. Keep running for your calling!

There should be NO EXCUSES. Keep running for your calling!

Read Isaiah 66 and  Jeremiah 1-2

“ 6 Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. 9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:6-10

Rhema: You should not create any excuse when God calls you. Whatever his calling for you – be it on leading, writing, singing, dancing, etc – you should go for it,  even you think that you’re not good enough or you do not fit on the standard of the world. Just remember, you have a BIG GOD. Excuses should not hinder you to do His calling; it should not paralyze you. God is always on our side so that we may rely on Him.

Reflection: I remember myself whenever God instructs me to do things, excuses will immediately go out from my mind. Before when he asked me to share the Gospel to my friends, my own excuses will stop me from doing it. I would tell Him that I’m afraid that my friends would reject the message, I’m too shy, and all those worthless excuses. But throughout my journey in knowing Him, I was able to overcome it. I managed to share to my friends little by little and God really empowered me to do everything.

God reminds us that whenever there is instruction coming from him, he will be with us and help us.

Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord – Jeremiah 1:8

Motivation: 18 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 1:18-20

I believe undergoing this challenge will make me a dangerous woman of Christ to stand against all odds. He will strengthen me and no one will overcome me because I have Him. They will fight with me but will not overcome me. I can endure all the battle because I have Him.  He will rescue me from all the enemies and will make me victorious

Application: No excuses should paralyze me from doing Your will. Prepare for the battle.

—————————————————————

This year, there are things that I’ll do for His vision. I can’t tell it right now but this is not about me, it’s about him. It’s for him. Father, I will keep this words from You:

Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:6-10.

God bless everyone! I hope you have been blessed. You can bless other people by sharing this post.
