HONEST, OPEN-MINDED SCIENTISTS THROUGHOUT ALL HISTORY HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THE EXISTENCE OF GOD!

True science acknowledges the existence of God, & the honest scientists know there’s Something, Somebody, some Planner, some Designer behind it all.–Like Dr. Steiner, the World’s greatest authority on the living human cell, who said, “After 30 years of study of the human cell, I cannot help but marvel at the Divine Designer Who made it!”
Or James Clerk Maxwell, the Scottish scientific genius, & Lord Kelvin, the British inventor of the absolute scale of temperature, who declared, “Science is incompetent to reason upon the Creation of matter itself out of nothing”, & “we must pause, face to face, with the mystery & miracle of the Creation of living creatures.”
Or Sir William Herschel, the German-born astronomer & discoverer of the planet Uranus, who said, “All human discoveries seem to be made only…

Trying and learning

” It was sixteen years ago when that incident happened. But it still taunts me sixteen years after. The guy I thought that I would spend my life forever with was the same guy who broke my heart and left me hanging on his uncertain words.  But love changes everything. I’m just going to tell you how.”

That is an excerpt from what keeps me so pretty busy these past few days.

Writing a novel is one of our projects for my English Class. Since, we picked love story, our story is about two individuals being reunited by love and fate. Then, a lot of twists and turns. I hope I can eventually post it here, so I can hear comments from all of you.

This novel in progress has been challenging me, since I was trained more on narrative way of writing. I’m a news writer by nature. However, this project will surely hone up my skill in writing.

And seriously, I’m enjoying it. 🙂

Believe and achieve

Not all people will tell good things at you…

I don’t know why the words that came from my friend – to think that she’s  my friend – caught me to ponder upon things and left me to feel worried about myself.

“You’ll go nowhere”

To hear something from a friend, either a joke or not, made me to think twice on myself.

For just a petty reason, my friend labeled me like that. We’re just having a normal conversation through facebook, when I continuously made mistake typing for some phrases (typographical). Honestly, it was just pure mistake, since I was not looking at the keyboard while typing, at the same time, watching and chatting. (multi-tasking, indeed!).

However, I was shocked with what she said. You’ll go nowhere if you continued that practice (typographical thing). I tried to explain my side, but she thought, it was just my excuse.

I know this is just so petty. I just felt that her words have conviction in a way that I felt she was slapping me repeatedly.

I just thank God that he always reminds me that He was the one who holds my life. He already have plans for me ahead, so I don’t have to worry. I’ll just do my best.

My humor does not define who I really am. There’s more on me than cracking jokes. It just one side of me.  You haven’t seen the whole side of me.

I guess, negative words are meant to make me a better individual. I don’t have to prove myself. I’ll just do my best.

Anyway, I don’t know  if I’m just being so sensitive. What do you think? But I have some bizarre ability to know if the person is sincere or not. So perhaps you can understand my rants.

I just need someone who will really believe in me. Thanks for those who are already. I believe so. How about you? I just need all your words my fellow bloggers.

Voice of Truth by Casting Crowns

This song keeps on inspiring me for fighting the truth. – for fighting what is  right. If you read my previous post, I posted about the case that we’ve been fighting for.

Anyway, I hope you’ll be inspired with this song. 🙂

But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves they don’t seem so high
From on top of them looking down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me

This is the favorite part of my song! Hope you’ll listen!

I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

God bless everyone!!! 🙂

College life

Hello fellow bloggers and readers,  I just want you to know that I’m still alive, it just just that my eyebags continue to grow even without my permission LOL (kidding aside!)

A lot of works are needed to be done. College life is pretty taxing. Aside from the happiness and bonding with your blockmates, tons of paper works, projects, assignment are needed to be passed.

Golly! I hope my entire system can do this. Do you share the same sentiments when you were still on your college life? I hope you can relate 🙂 haha

Anyway, I need to pass a comprehensive article about the calamity that just recently happened on our country, I need to create a newspaper, novel, movie trailer, movie poster (glad were 5 on the group),  and Journals that should be more than 500 words. Yeah! welcome to college life.

Glad I’m used to this kind of life. haha. I promise I’ll blog more interesting topic, after my midterm tomorrow. Hope you’ll pray for me 🙂 Thank you.

Is this enough evidence to show my growing eyebags? 🙂

I can do this!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Philippians 4:13

God bless everyone 😀

The Filipino Spirit!

Recently, a calamity hit the Metro Manila, Philippines. The strength of Southwest monsoon or habagat  caused a continuous heavy downpour of rain which resulted to flash flood, landslide and deaths over the city. But despite of that, the Spirit of Filipino continues to outshine the negativity that the calamity brought.

And this makes me proud:

Even the tired rescuers still have the heart to smile and pose. And that’s why I’m proud. We Filipinos even with the struggles we are undergoing, we still put a smile on our face. We make others happy by our smile. It’s really true when they say that you get to see the real person in times of struggles and problems. Do you agree?

Of course, the spirit of helping! We Filipinos are known for that. When in time of need, Filipinos lend their hand to others.

True Filipino Spirit; helping each other.

Even with the negativity that others say to my country and to my race, I am proud with my head up high that I am a Filipino. We may not be as rich or as influential as other country, we have the values, the spirit of giving, the spirit of helping, and the spirit of smiling, that I can be proud of. And those values cannot be equated to the richness of others. No matter what will others say to the Philippines.

Do not be swayed on the news that you’ve watched. Philippines is not as worse as you’ve predicted and seen on the television. Philippines is a good country with hospitable people living overhead.

Anyway, have the heart to donate. Read my previous post for more information!

God bless everyone!

The bottomline of Mr. Boy Abunda

* (had the heart to share this realization to all of you. Note: I wrote this way back second week of june, but had the urge to share it with all of you)

June 10, 2012 (1:55am)

“You know when a lawyer’s lying, when his lips is moving”

Again, I’m struck with the words from The Bottomline of Mr. Boy Abunda. This is why my I like the program that my entire system on saturday basis feels incomplete when I didn’t get the chance to watch it. It’s merely not just a sense of talk show, but it is more of a learning/informative show where you can get inspiration and self-realization from the lives of others. – journey of different individuals through the path of success.

So, today’s show showcased the intelligence of Atty. Dennis Manalo, one of the defense lawyers of Former Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Anyway, back to the quote, though he said that it was a joke, I get his point. That once you are a lawyer, you’re going to defend someone whether he/she is guilty or not, whether he/she is on the truth or not. As long as you can pound the law and the technicalities, you’ll earn it. And that’s a typical lawyer wears his/her crown.

However, dreaming of becoming a lawyer, or can I just say “becoming a lawyer someday” (in God’s grace and time), I have my different perspective. Practicing Law is more of a passion, it’s more of experience than winning. Nevertheless, I guess I’m not on the position to explain it further, since I’m not yet studying Law. There are lot of questions  and ifs pondering on my head that only studying law itself could only be the key of answering that all.

What if I’m just too young, too vulnerable to understand everything. What if it’s not just for me. I have a lot to ask, but I guess it’s not yet the right time to know the answer.

God is really good that He’s making me ponder about this. I quite understand what he was trying to say regarding this, but I just don’t know if my instinct is right. I’m thankful that the Lord loves me that he uses a lot of instruments to send this message to me.

Today, what was clear to me that becoming a lawyer isn’t about fighting for the “legal truth”, but it is more of fighting for the whole truth. Using not just your brain, but your heart as well.

I guess this principle would not fit a typical lawyer, but change is the only permanent thing in this world. Perhaps my beliefs is still lacking convincing explanation, but I promise, once I get into law school, I can perfectly explain it. Nonetheless, I have to focus more on what is present which is my Journalism degree. So I have to study hard first on my chosen degree today, before jumping to my future.

God’s message for my thought :

But blessed are your eyes because they see and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but didn’t see, and to hear what you hear but didn’t hear – Matthew 13:16-17

           God bless everyone!
